Finding Funding is a half-day workshop on looking for funding opportunities. We’re starting from scratch so no knowledge is needed. The workshop is particularly suited to volunteers and trustees but is open to everyone from voluntary and community groups in Bradford district.

  • Looking for small grant funding of up to £10,000? Not sure where to start?
  • Want to make sure you're applying to the right funder and improve your chances of success?

Come along and find out how to search for funding using the bfunded website. The bfunded website is free and you can do as many searches as you like. We’ve extended this workshop to add in time for you to try out the online search yourself and get help. There is free wifi at the venue. Please bring a laptop or tablet.

Workshop content

  • Planning your fundraising priorities.
  • How to keep up to date with the latest news about funding.
  • Top tips for how to plan your funding search, sort results and save time by creating reports.
  • Target the right small grant funders.
  • Training and support available from your local CVS to help you develop your fundraising skills.

Is this the right workshop for you? We’ll cover some aspects of applying for funding but groups looking for specific advice on how to write a good funding application should book on our full-day Bid Writing Skills course instead.
