Social Media Training - 26th February 2019

Registration is closed for this event

Do you want to bring your organisation into the 21st Century? Do you want to connect with other organisations and people on social media?

Come on our social media training course and we’ll teach you the basic skills you need to do just that, we’ll set up your accounts and show you how to make the most of them. You’ll learn about Twitter and Facebook, as well as touching on Instagram, LinkedIn and WhatsApp – you can find out which audience is on which channel, what kind of content performs best and how to maximise the reach of your key messages as well as how to evaluate your social media strategy and platforms. You will also learn about how to choose and schedule content ahead of time, through Hootsuite, to get the most out of the time you spend on social media.

This training is designed for people who don’t currently have organisational social media channels but would like to, as well as those who have them but aren’t sure of how to effectively use them to engage your beneficiaries.

Please bring with you on the day:

  • A laptop or notebook if you have one
  • Your organisation’s logo, on a memory stick or on your laptop.
  • A few sentences about your organisation and what you offer/provide.
