Meet the Funder: Craven Trust, 22 February 2022 (1.30 to 2.30pm)

This is a free, online event and 20 places are available for community organisations in Bradford district.


Meet Caroline Schwaller (Chair) and Robert Templar (Treasurer) of The Craven Trust. The Trust gives grants (generally £100 to £1,500) to community projects and groups, as well to individuals in need through a sponsoring organisation. Their specific geographic area of benefit includes parts of Bradford district. A few examples of what we can be funded are:

  • Items such as equipment and capital purchases to improve the organisation’s services, administration or functions
  • Training for volunteers or trustees
  • Premises costs (building maintenance, repairs)
  • Set-up costs
  • Help for individuals who are in need or hardship, or experiencing distress. This could mean paying for items, services or facilities which help to reduce their difficulties.
