Meet the Funder: West Riding Masonic Charities Ltd, Monday 8 August 2022 (10am to 11am) online

Registration is closed for this event

This is a free, online event and 10 places are available for community organisations in Bradford district.

Meet Mathew Simms and Christian Jones from West Riding Masonic Charities Limited – PGM fund to find out more about the Charities’ criteria for funding, which organisations it will fund, what kinds of projects it will fund and get tips on applying.

The Charity raises funds from its Freemason members and then distributes a limited number of major grants (usually up to £25,000) and a larger number of small grants (up to £5,000) to charities and organisations in the region for a wide range of activities/projects which benefit local communities.

Grants are usually for capital items and organisations who have benefitted range from rugby/football clubs, community organisations, hospices, bereavement projects, schools to provide shoes for school children to enable them to take part in activities, baby banks and so on. The Charity is keen to hear from any local charity supporting people and communities. Applications are made through Masonic Lodges on behalf of the Charity/organisation.

The session will be very informal, and you will have the opportunity to ask Mathew and Christian questions. It will help you to:

  • Learn more about what can be funded
  • Check your planned request for funding (and your organisation) is eligible
  • Know what makes a successful funding application
  • Understand the application process

Delivered by Mathew Simms and Christian Jones (West Riding Masonic Charities Limited – PGM Fund), and facilitated by Kaye Wilson (Voluntary Action Leeds) and Sarah Moss (Community Action Bradford and District).

Please register and we'll email you the zoom meeting link and password the day before the meeting (check your junk mail folder, if you don't receive it email training@cabad.org.uk).
