This course will give participants an introduction to project management. We will cover the key stages of the project lifecycle and examine some of the tools and techniques that project managers can use to feel confident that they will deliver a successful project.

By the end of the course learners will be able to:

  • Identify the key stages of the project lifecycle
  • Identify the issues and implications for project managers in the voluntary and community sector
  • Demonstrate simple tools and techniques for effective project management
