Today's daily briefing includes vaccine information, online training, and the #NeverMoreNeeded #RightNow campaign.
Covid-19 vaccines for face to face youth workers:
Bradford Council are being asked to identify youth workers who are working in VCS, faith and community settings where you are undertaking face to face youth work within a Covid secure environment, who may be interested in having a Covid vaccine.

Expressions of interest in vaccinations need to be via your organisation and come from a manager (so one expression per organisation). Managers should email heather.wilson@bradford.gov.uk with their organisation and contact details plus an indication of how many staff you have working face to face.

The vaccine team will contact you directly with the arrangements.
Covid-19 vaccine update:
The NHS have produced a Community Conversations information pack, which has been designed to help staff and volunteers who are having conversations with people around the Covid-19 vaccine.

The information pack includes details about the available vaccines, what to expect when you get vaccinated, information on fertility and safety, side effects and misinformation. It is presented in a 'Frequently Asked Questions' format with comprehensive answers to some of the most popular questions and queries people may have around the vaccines.

Please download the information pack and share with your staff, volunteers, contacts and networks to get everybody better informed about the vaccinations and ensure they are basing decisions on accurate information.
Walking in my Shoes - online training:
The Walking in my Shoes online training has been put together for all health and social care support staff across Bradford District and Craven. The course will provide you with a refreshed way of thinking about how to deliver the best service user experience. Within the session, support staff will recognise what it is like to 'walk in service users shoes', taking responsibility to get it right first time.

The training only lasts for two hours, minimising impact on the working day, with numerous sessions on offer at different times of the day. The first session is on the 1st March with further dates available throughout the month; more dates will be released in due course for April and beyond.

Please share the flyer throughout your organisation and networks. More details are available on the One Workforce Hub website with bookings and additional support from Shipley College.
Charities call on government to create an Emergency Support Fund:
The #NeverMoreNeeded campaign has issued an open letter to the Prime Minister calling for the creation of an Emergency Support Fund for communities and causes.

The letter comes as charities respond to growing need for their services while wrestling with an estimated £10 billion funding gap caused by the pandemic. Many organisations are already spending their reserves, making redundancies and having to scale back or even close services.

Supporters believe the Emergency Support Fund is needed to quickly get vital funding out to charities who are struggling to meet increasing demand and haven't been reached by the funding and support that is currently available. The letter warns that without the fund, charity support will be cut back or even disappear altogether, leaving them unable to respond to the needs of the most disadvantaged in our communities.

You can view and share messages on social media using the hashtag #RightNow, downloading graphics from the Never More Needed website.

I'm sure you'll agree, it's incredibly important that community groups are able to access information to support them through this time, so please do us (and them) a favour and send on the subscribe link so they can get it direct to their inbox daily - the link is http://ow.ly/EGGk50z0dG9.

If you haven't heard, we've set up a Facebook COVID Hub for the VCSE in the Bradford district, check it out for lots of daily info, resources and support, and follow us on Twitter
